German Sauna - Claudis Therme in Cologne

今回ドイツサウナ旅の目的でもあった一大温浴リゾート施設「Claudius Theme」にやって来ました！ライン川添いの静穏な公園の中にあって、ロケーションも素晴らしい。事前に施設の下調べをしていたものの、いざ本場のスパ施設を体験すると思うと、テンション上がりました！こちらは、入り口を入ってすぐのエントランス部分。ホリデーシーズンだったので、アバンギャルドなクリスマスツリーがお出迎えしてくれました。

Claudis Theme, we've been dreaming of coming to experience German style sauna at this large public bathhouse in Cologne. It's located in the beautiful tranquil park along the River Rhine. Yumi and I got so excited to finally experience this huge public bathhouse as we did a quite research on the facility before the trip. The picture is showing an entrance area where an avant-garde style Christmas tree welcomed us.

料金表と施設案内図。2時間、4時間、時間制限なし、という料金プラン。私たちはもちろん一日コースを選択。館内図はまるでテーマパークか？と錯覚する程の大きさでした。エントランス部分で、すでにワクワク度ピーク！

Price list and floor map. Even it's all written in German, we figured that the price is set by how many hours you'd like to stay. Without no hesitation, we chose the "full day" ticket. This spa is gigantic as if an amusement park! Our excitement level hit its peak even at the entrance!

読めないドイツ語ながらも、この施設の評価が高いと言うのがわかるサイン。 もちろん5starでございますね。ちなみに、この会社はドイツ国内にスパサウナ施設を６件も運営しているのです。（そのうちの一つである、ベルリンの都会型サウナ施設の「Liquid Room」に行ってみましたが、やっぱりケルンのレベルの方が俄然高かったです！）ドイツサウナ界の重鎮会社。就職したいーー！

This sign proves that Claudius Theme is a 5-star spa. I couldn't help but feel excited to go in and experience an ultimate healing experience inside!

サウナも最高だったのですが、この施設のもう一つの見所は、温水プールがなんと温泉！（鉄の味がしてめっちゃくちゃマズいけど！）お風呂に浸かるのとはまた違って、温泉にふわふわと浮く浮遊感がこんなに気持ち良いのかと、サウナに入る前にまさかのプールに大ハマりでした。しかも巨大プールの野外部分では（写真の右手の丸い部分）一時間に一度10分だけ波を起こして回転プールになるという楽しいイベントが。ただ洗濯機のように、もしくは渦潮のように水が回転しひたすら流されると言う、非常にシンプルなことなのに、まー楽しい。流れに逆らわずただただ流される「浮遊感」最高に人間を幸せにしてくれるんだなって、素晴らしい気づき体験でした。
